Anastasia Hall

Director of Education

“Learn to Start consistently delivers real outcomes of empowerment, performance, and wellness in our students. By disrupting the traditional notions of time, content, and failure in the classroom, Learn to Start’s programming creates an environment simmering with opportunities for students to develop the entrepreneurial mindset necessary to achieve their future goals.”

As the Director of Education for The Startup Studio, Anastasia focuses on creating opportunities for students to take advantage of as they gain confidence in who they are. She helps teachers transform into mentors who guide rather than instruct. With both students and teachers engaged in finding and communicating their value, she believes this new classroom will see real outcomes in education.

Anastasia’s philosophy in the classroom revolves around experiential learning through a student-centered classroom. The teacher’s role is to act as a mentor to the students whilst creating a supportive environment. Once that trust is established, students will begin taking the risks from which real-world, lifelong learning comes.

Anastasia earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from New York University and her Master of Education in Secondary Social Studies from Teachers College Columbia University.
