Dana Conroy

Lead Controller

“Having worked inside of education for over 14 years. I have always strived to promote the development of a holistic student. I am honored to be a part of Learn to Start, as I believe that is its core mission; Striving to nurture a physically, mentally and spiritually healthy individual in today’s society.”

Dana is originally from Philadelphia, PA and knew from a very young age that her destiny was helping other people. She fast tracked her education via Methodist Hospital School of Nursing and Jefferson University in Philadelphia and began working as a Registered Nurse in a Philadelphia Emergency Department at 19 years old.

She married Gary in 1996 and their family grew with their three daughters which brought them to Florida in 2000.

In 2009, she got the dream job of developing a school nurse program in an up and coming new private school in Windermere. There, she built and established a successful Health and Wellness program. At WPS, it was a true family setting with all hands on deck, so during that growth period, she was also tasked with taking on the high school ordering and budget. She was able to use her meticulous habits and organization skills to learn new skills of developing, forecasting and managing a budget. She continued to grow and learn in this new field for the next 13 years, working and learning alongside regional and national managing directors.

Her passion for working with people and constantly learning and evolving has brought her to join the Learn to Start team. She looks forward to continuing to learn and hone this new passion with the Learn to Start program.
